Whether you are looking to redo you whole home or you just need a vision to know where you are going with your home Jane offers both services.

Jane Can put a design concept together for you that would include all the elements for you to proceed in doing your home on your own. Call or email to inquire about this service.

Jane also provides in home consultations for those of you who would just like to hire her to do a colour consultation, general design, in which she would provide you with large colour chips and a written report of design concepts discussed at meeting. A minimum fee of 500.00 dollars is charged for this service. This service is invaluable, as having a plan of how to decorate to your home is crucial in avoiding making mistakes.

Colour Consultations

Jane Hall will be adding consultations using Skype. Now you can have access to her unique ability to use colour to create one of a kind spaces. Email photos of your project, and you can book a time to consult with Jane personally. If you would like a plan for your home, inquire about our flat fee that would provide you with all the elements required for you to have a Jane Hall room from anywhere in the world.

On-line consultations with me are done one-on-one live and on the phone (I have an unlimited plan or overseas we can use Skype). We each have the same fan deck and I suggest colours as if I was in your house. That way you can give me immediate feedback on your likes and dislikes . We also ‘walk’ through your home and discuss your updates (if necessary) in addition you can get as much decorating advice as you need or want. A good colour expert should also be a decorator or designer as you must be able to assess the room in terms of how to pull it together with the right colour drapery, upholstery, flooring, etc.

Jane’s various workrooms specialize in creating custom products from luxury fabrics from around the world. Famous brand names like Robert Allen, Jab, Stroheim & Rohem, Trisha Guild and Pierre Frey are all available along with stunning Indian textiles. These fabrics can be transformed into cushions, bedding, even hand-made lampshades and more. Other custom items are available.

Cushions

The bedroom is my favourite room to design. It is a very intimate and personal space where your fantasies should be your realities. It is a place to be romantic, relax, unwind, retreat and recharge. It is the perfect place to use textiles, on the bed, on the window, and maybe on a chair. At Jane Hall choose from a multitude of options. Drapes

Drapes are practical and environmentally sound. They keep out the drafts in winter and the hot sun in the summer. And as both Scarlett O’Hara and Carol Burnett have demonstrated, you can always make a gown out of them in a pinch. There is sensuality in the richness and volume of fabric and a variety of colour and pattern. It is the secret   to the lush opulent interiors you see in European interiors. They add luxury and texture to a room that California shutters never will. Just provide us with a picture of your room and the measurements of your windows and we can provide you with drapes made in beautiful fabrics that will enhance your decor.

Art is what we call...

the thing an artist does.

It's not the medium or the oil or the price or whether it hangs on a wall or you eat it. What matters, what makes it art, is that the person who made it overcame the resistance, ignored the voice of doubt and made something worth making. Something risky. Something human.

Art is not in the eye of the beholder. It's in the soul of the artist.

One of Jane’s many area s of explorations in the design field over the last 35 years has as a fine artist. Her work exudes her sense of colour and whimsy. As an artist her favourite subject matter was interior and exterior spaces. As an artist she feels her art has inspired the way she approaches interior design. As you look in her store the lines between fantasies our blurred and many people comment that they have fallen down the rabbit hole and they are in another world.  Paintings are in many private collections in the world. She no longer paints and has only 17 original paintings left of the 300 she painted, but she has  an extensive line of Giclee prints available for sale that can be reproduced on fine art paper or on canvas in their original size with prices ranging from 125.00 400.00 stretched.
