About Jane Hall

Jane Hall’s extensive experience in textile design, fine art, interior design, colour and fashion is intricately woven into her aesthetic approach. Her understanding of colour and texture and ability to layer and combine for visual impact make her a stand-out in the field. Her network of Canadian artisans and suppliers, combined with 32 years of experience make her a sought-after designer. Jane has designed for the high-end home décor industry including fabric company Kravet, dinnerware maker Mikasa and painted murals for Second Cup and Michel’s Baguette. She has decorated and renovated hundreds of Canadian homes.

Jane Hall Philosophy

“Interiors have personalities. We can use colour and texture to evoke a room’s unique personality, and that of ourselves. Fabric, colour and texture are my passions and I can’t imagine doing anything else. I seek to turn dreams into reality for my clients with thousands of fabrics to choose from and to inspire. Jane Hall Design – Voice of Style is an artisan’s treasure trove that can inspire anyone to create something totally unique.”

Jane's Retrospective

	The 70’s - Jane started her first business in 1976 four months after her graduation from MacMaster University where she studied Fine Art and Anthropology.
	The 80’s - Jane started an accessory manufacturing company that was located in the fashion district in downtown Toronto. It was then that she developed the concept of designing and selling product in colour groups.
	The 90’s - During this decade Jane designed and licensed collections for Kravet Fabrics, Imperial Wallcoverings, Mikasa, Sears, and Maggie B. It was also during these years that she became a fine artist and over an eight year period produced over 200 works that are in collections all over the world.
	The New Millennium - Jane opened the ground breaking store Jane Hall The Voice Of Colour which revamped the idea of merchandising products in colour groups.
	Today - Reopened a new store in the beach area of Toronto, catering to a need for good design and introducing colour into local homes. Jane returns to a first love of fashion and has incorporated fashion accessories to her line of products.

Jane Hall Staff

An architect and environmental designer by trade, Natasha has always possessed a keen interest in the world of fashion and in particular, the intricate detailing and embroidery work that characterizes today's high fashion. She furthered her design experience with a post-graduate degree in Fashion Design and Embroidery in her native Russia. and formed a company which provided fashion consulting, custom designed clothing, and advice on interior design.

Upon arriving in Canada, Natasha quickly developed a new clientele for her hand-made, custom designed clothing and home accessories. She has now created her own line of one-of-a-kind handbags for Jane Hall The Voice of Style, each featuring a unique design complimented with intricate and perfectly executed detailing.

Natasha now works in house as a full time seamstress.

A sought-after artist and designer, Tanya's paintings add warmth and colour to the local hospital and commercial establishments in her home town of Yekaterinburg, Russia. She helped redesign clothing stores and commercial developments in the city and created corporate logos and creative for many successful advertising campaigns.

After moving to Canada, Tanya quickly established herself as a designer and fabricator of custom window treatments, and as a consultant in redesigning private and commercial spaces. She has a keen interest in fashion and explores new areas of design where she uses her artistic talents to produce beautiful one-of-a-kind fashion accessories. The result has been a new line of handbags and other custom clothing accessories, each with Tanya's own creative vision.

John Morrison has 25 years of painting experience. His 10 year old company, Gen Eagle Painting is Jane Hall Design's official painting crew for interior and exterior projects. And Glen Eagle Painting knows how to paint. Staffed by experienced trades people who apprenticed for years in European guilds, John's jovial team can tackle virtually any painting project, large or small. Skills include working with strong colours, surface treatments, the application of different products for varied conditions - such as the touch Canadian climate, plastering, and wall papering.
